수진, 학폭 의혹 2년만 솔로 데뷔…“기다려준 팬들 미안하고 고마운 마음뿐”

가수 수진이 솔로로 복귀한다.

8일 소속사 BRD엔터테인먼트에 따르면 수진은 이날 오후 6시 각종 음원사이트를 통해 첫 솔로 EP ‘아가씨’를 발매한다.

신보 ‘아가씨’는 ‘수진’이라는 아티스트를 가장 잘 드러낼 수 있는 이미지들을 다채롭게 녹여 낸 앨범으로 타이틀곡 ‘아가씨’를 비롯해 ‘개화(開花)‘, ‘Sunflower(선플라워)’, ‘TyTy(타이타이)’, ‘SUNSET(선셋)’, ‘bloodredroses(블러드 레드 로즈)’까지 수진의 매력을 느낄 수 있는 총 6개의 트랙으로 구성됐다.

수진은 앨범 수록곡 중 가장 애착이 가는 노래로 ‘선셋’을 꼽았다. 그는 “노을이 지는 시간 좋아하는 이와 함께 보내는 시간을 예쁘게 풀어낸 곡이다. 누군가를 만나러 가기 위해 기분 좋은 상상을 하고 기다림조차 행복하게 느껴지는 곡”이라고 설명했다.

수진은 “팬분들과 소통을 많이 하고 싶다. 팬분들이 어떻게 지내셨는지 많이 궁금하다. 얼른 팬분들과 만나고 싶다”고 전하며 “오랫동안 기다려줘서 고맙다. 소식도 없고 많이 답답했을 텐데 미안하고 고마운 마음뿐”이라고 인사했다.

2018년 (여자)아이들 멤버로 가요계에 데뷔한 수진은 팀 내 메인댄서와 서브보컬로 활약했으나 2021년 학폭 의혹에 휩싸이며 팀에서 탈퇴했다. 이듬해에는 당시 소속사와의 전속계약도 종료했다.
