The agency of girl group FIFTY FIFTY has terminated the agency contracts of three of its members.


On October 23, Attract said, "We have notified the remaining three members of our girl group Fifty Fifty, Sena (Jung Sae Hyun), Shio (Jung Ji-ho), and Aran (Jung Eun Ah), excluding Kina (Song Ja Kyung), of the termination of their exclusive contracts as of October 19."


"We have taken action against the three members of Fifty Fifty for their gross breach of contract and lack of remorse. We will be discussing future actions with the members."


Fifty Fifty debuted in November last year and garnered attention for their success in the global music market, with their February release "Cupid" reaching No. 17 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. In June, the four members of Fifty Fifty filed a preliminary injunction claiming that the agency had failed to fulfill its obligations to provide settlement data and to take care of the members' physical and mental health.


Attract fought back, claiming that there were external forces trying to take away the members of Fifty Fifty, and filed a lawsuit against Dougiebus CEO Ahn Sung-il and three others, alleging that Dougiebus, which had been managing the project and performing the work, had bought the copyright of 'Cupid'.


The court dismissed the case, and Fifty Fifty filed an appeal against the court's decision. Kina, who returned to the attraction, recently filed a notice of withdrawal of the appeal. After returning to ATRACT, KINA gave an interview to The Dispatch on the 20th and revealed that it was Dougieverse's producer Ahn Sung-il who was behind the request for a temporary injunction to suspend the effectiveness of the agency contract.

MLB 사무국의 신분 조회 요청은 MLB구단이 선수를 영입하기 위해 밟는 첫 번째 절차다. 두 선수는 올시즌을 끝으로 정규시즌을 7시즌 이상 소화해 구단 동의 하에 포스팅시스템을 통한 해외리그 진출 자격을 갖췄다. 앞서 이정후는 이번 시즌 종료 뒤 메이저리그 도전 의사를 밝힌 바 있다. 소속팀인 키움은 이를 수락했다. 현지 매체에서도 이들의 영입에 대한 관심이 높은 상황이다. 10일 미국 스포츠 전문 채널 ESPN은 이정후를 FA 순위 전체 14위로 평가, 연평균 1250만 달러를 받는 초특급 계약을 할 것으로 내다봤다. 이후에도 ESPN은 자유계약선수(FA)야수 부문 상위 12명 중 한 명으로 이정후를 소개하면서 “추신수 이후 가장 재능있는 한국인 야수로 나이는 고작 25세다. KBO리그에서 뛸 때 매년 3할 이상의 타율을 기록했다. 이정후는 삼진을 거의 당하지 않았으며 발목 부상에도 외야 수비를 잘할 선수”라고 분석했다. 이정후의 처남인 고우석도 올해 7년 차로 포스팅 신청 자격을 갖췄다. 고우석은 2017년 KBO리그에 데뷔해 올해까지 354경기에 등판해 19승 26패 139세이브 6홀드 평균자책점 3.18을 기록했다.
