Girl group Fifty Fifty, who are in a dispute over their exclusive contract, released a statement to their agency, Attract, saying, "Don't insult them with a tempering frame."

On the 12th, the four members of Fifty Fifty said on social media, "The former head of Attract conspired to match the advance payment debt of another entertainment agency operated by Attract with the investment of 5 billion won in Fifty Fifty," and urged the agency to drop the baseless frame.

"They charged 3 billion won in expenses in the settlement letter sent to members, but to this day, they have not disclosed the details of 3.3 billion won in management and operating expenses and 1.7 billion won in deposits," he said, adding, "The tempering frame seems to be an attempt to evade answers and divert attention."

Finally, they added, "We will disclose everything, including our health, our activities under surveillance and control, and the truth behind the CEO's myths."

The four members of Fifty Fifty had previously filed a request for a temporary restraining order against the agency, which the court rejected in August. The agency suspects that a subcontractor, including music service company Dougiebus CEO Ahn Sung-il, is behind the dispute.

On March 27, Attract filed a lawsuit for a total of 1 billion won in damages with the Seoul Central District Court against the subcontractor. In addition, Jeon Hong-jun sued A, who was interviewed on SBS's "It Wants to Know" as an insider, for defamation.

On the 16th, Seo Kyung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, sent a protest email to the Japan Meteorological Agency through social networking services (SNS), demanding that the agency correct its mistake of labeling Dokdo as Japanese land. "The Japan Meteorological Agency has always labeled Dokdo as '竹島' (Takeshima), and we have been protesting against this for three years. The biggest problem is that many Japanese netizens visit the Japan Meteorological Agency's website during typhoon and tsunami warnings, which can create a false perception of Dokdo," he said. "In this protest email, we said, 'This is a clear territorial provocation. Dokdo is an undisputed territory of the Republic of Korea under historical, geographical, and international law." Professor Seo said that not o...
