가수 겸 배우 아이유 측이 최근 살해 협박까지 받은 사실을 공개하며 강경 대응을 거듭 예고했다.

아이유 소속사 이담엔터테인먼트는 6일 공식 입장문을 내고 “최근 아이유를 상대로 살해 협박 신고가 접수돼 사옥을 비롯해 카카오엔터테인먼트 사옥, 본가로 수사기관이 긴급출동하는 등 아이유를 향한 폭력적 행위 수위가 도를 넘었다”고 밝혔다.

이어 “당시 아이유는 촬영 중이었고 수사기관이 보안 및 안전 상황임을 모두 확인한 뒤 마무리된 사안으로 즉시 경호 인력을 강화 조치했다”고 설명했다.

온·오프라인상에서 이어지고 있는 무분별한 비방·불법행위에 대해서도 선처 없는 ‘무관용 원칙’에 따라 민·형사상 책임을 묻기 위한 절차를 밟고 있다고 전했다.
