엑소 도경수, 실내 흡연으로 과태료 처분…갑질 의혹까지

그룹 엑소 멤버 디오(본명 도경수)가 실내 흡연으로 과태료 처분을 받은 사실이 뒤늦게 알려졌다.

8월 엑소 유튜브 채널에 올라온 자체 콘텐츠 영상 속에서 디오가 실내 흡연을 하는 듯한 모습이 포착됐다. 영상 속 디오는 대기실에서 스태프들과 옷매무시를 가다듬으며 코로 연기를 내뿜고 있는 모습이 포착됐다.

한 네티즌은 실내 흡연 의혹을 제기했고, 마포구보건소에 민원을 제기했다. 보건소로부터 받은 답변 또한 온라인 커뮤니티에 공개했다.

처리한 답변 내용에 따르면 연 면적 1000㎡ 이상의 사무용건축물, 공장 및 복합용도 건축물은 시설 전체가 금연구역으로 지정돼 있으며 이에 따라 MBC 본사 내에서의 흡연은 금연구역 위반에 해당한다.

디오 측은 무 니코틴 전자담배를 사용했다고 소명했으나 이를 입증할 수 없는 상황이라 과태료 처분을 받은 것으로 알려졌다. 이어 “이에 당사자는 공인으로서 앞으로는 성실히 법을 준수하겠다는 다짐까지 하였음을 확인해 드린다”라고 덧붙였다.

네티즌들은 실내 흡연과 더불어 디오의 행동이 스태프 등에 대한 ‘갑질’일 수 있다는 점을 지적하기도 했다.

한편, 디오는 8월 2일 개봉한 영화 ‘더 문’에 출연한데 이어 9월 17일 두 번째 미니 앨범 ‘기대’를 발매한다.
