ムービングで人気を得ていたのに...ディズニー+、月額購読料4000ウォン引き上げ

ディズニーのオンライン・ビデオ・サービス(OTT)「Disney+」が11月から料金プランを改定する。人同時ストリーミングが可能な現在の会員価格(月額9900ウォン)が、実質4000ウォン値上げされる。


グローバル・オンライン・ビデオ・サービス(OTT)のディズニー+は6日、11月1日から料金プランを2種類に再編するとウェブサイトで発表した。"2023年11月1日以降の新規加入者から新しい会員種別と加入料金ポリシーが適用される "とし、月額9万9000ウォン(年額9万9000円)の「ディズニー+スタンダード」と月額1万3900ウォン(年額1万3900円)の「ディズニー+プレミアム」にプランを再編するという。


以前は月額9900ウォン(年額99000円)のプランしかなかった。ただし、同価格のスタンダードプランを選択した場合、映像品質が低下し、同時にストリーミングできるデバイスの数も減るため、実際には値上げという話もある。


11月1日以前に会員登録した人は、これまでと同じ月額9900ウォンでディズニー+プレミアムを楽しめる。ただし、11月1日以降にメンバーシップをキャンセルまたは変更し、再度加入した場合は、新しいメンバーシップポリシーが適用される。


「このメンバーシップポリシーの変更により、グローバルブランドコンテンツ、独占オリジナルコンテンツ、質の高いローカルストーリーテリングの幅広いコレクションを提供し続け、加入者により良い価値と選択肢を提供していきます」とDisney+は述べている。


一方、Disney+は、オリジナルドラマ『Moving』の初放送以来、アプリの週間利用時間が過去最高を更新し続けている。本日、Disney+は、8月第4週のDisney+アプリの週間利用時間が185億分に達したと発表した。


引越し」公開前の8月第1週の8億分と比較すると、週間利用時間は130%増加し、2倍以上となった。ディズニー+」アプリの週間利用時間は、「引越し」公開以降、毎週増加しており、8月第2週は11.2億分、8月第3週は16.3億分、8月第4週は18.5億分となっている。
