ポーランドのYouTuberが、サムスンの折りたたみ式スマートフォン「Galaxy Z Flip 5」を25万回以上開閉して折りたたみストレステストを行い、同じくテストを行ったモトローラの「Razr 40 Plus」が動かなくなったとして話題になっている。

7日付の業界によると、ポーランドのIT系YouTuber「Mrkeybrd」が3日（現地時間）から「Samsung Z Flip 5 vs Motorola Razr 40Plus (Ultra)-The Great Folding Test」と題したライブ配信を行っている。

この動画は、サムスンZフリップ5とモトローラRazr 40 Ultraの性能を比較するために作成されたもので、同日午後5時の時点でギャラクシーZフリップ5の開閉回数は26万回以上。

モトローラ・レイザー40ウルトラは、ヒンジが12万6266回で故障して壊れるまでに4万3800回開閉した。

Mrkeybrd氏は、「サムスンやモトローラのスポンサーではなく、両機種ともこの実験のために購入したもの」と述べている。昨年、Mrkeybrd氏はギャラクシーZフリップ3を手でテストし、40万回以上開閉した。
