A Polish YouTuber is in the news for folding stress testing Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 5, a foldable smartphone, by opening and closing it more than 250,000 times, while Motorola's Razr 40 Plus, which was also tested, stopped working.
According to the industry on the 7th, Polish IT YouTuber 'Mrkeybrd' has been broadcasting a live stream titled 'Samsung Z Flip 5 vs Motorola Razr 40Plus (Ultra)-The Great Folding Test' since the 3rd (local time).
The video was created to compare the performance of the Samsung Z Flip 5 and the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, and as of 5 p.m. that day, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 had been opened and closed more than 260,000 times.
The Motorola Razer 40 Ultra was opened and closed 43,800 times before the hinge failed and broke at 126,266 times.
Mrkeybrd said he was "not sponsored by Samsung or Motorola, and both phones were purchased for the purpose of this experiment". Last year, Mrkeybrd tested the Galaxy Z Flip 3 by hand, opening and closing it more than 400,000 times.
