NCT's Chenle has addressed member Taeil's motorcycle accident.

On the 17th, SM Entertainment said, "We are currently under police investigation, so we can't say much more about the circumstances of Taeil's motorcycle accident on the 15th."

The previous day, Chenle commented on Taeil's accident during a live broadcast on Chinese social media site Weibo, saying, "Taeil and I were traveling home together, and I was going to the hair salon and he was hit by a car that ran a red light," adding, "I was very worried when I heard about his injuries. Taeil was hit by a car that ran a red light, not a traffic violation," he said.

SM Entertainment commented on Taeil's condition, saying, "Upon examination, he was diagnosed with a fracture in his right thigh and was advised by medical staff that surgery was necessary.
