"居場所を探す"...プロゲーマーFakerの殺人投稿を警察が追う

プロゲーマーのフェイカー（本名イ・サンヒョク）を殺害すると脅迫する書き込みがネット上に浮上し、警察が捜査に乗り出した。

11月11日、ソウル警察庁によると、前日午後10時ごろ、オンラインコミュニティ「ディッシュインサイド」に「フェイカーが所属するチーム『T1』の宿舎に行き、凶器で危害を加える」と脅迫する書き込みがあったことを確認し、事件を大田西部警察署に移送した。

警察はインターネット・アドレス（IP）を追跡して投稿者を特定し、身元が確認され次第逮捕する予定。

これに先立ち最高検察庁は、ネット上に「殺人予告」を書き込んで不特定多数の人を脅迫したとして、本日までに全国で11人を拘束した。

今回の逮捕は、21日にソウルで発生した「シンリム駅刺殺事件」以降、ソーシャル・ネットワーキング・サービス（SNS）に同様の犯行を予告する書き込みが相次いだことを受けたもの。検察と警察は容疑者を追跡・逮捕し、犯行の重大性、逃亡、証拠隠滅の可能性などから逮捕状を求めている。

月27日に西林駅で女性20人を殺害すると脅迫した20歳の男が拘束されたのに続き、6日に1人、7日から9日まで1日2人が拘束された。10日には清涼里駅、春川駅、ソウル森林駅、龍山駅で武器を持って暴れると脅迫したとして4人が拘束された。

法務部は、"最高検察庁の公然威迫に関する法律改正勧告を受け入れ、情報通信網法などの法律に殺人予告の書き込みなどの公然威迫行為に対する刑事罰を設ける予定である。"と述べた。
