歌手で女優のIUの代理人が、彼女が最近殺害予告を受け、繰り返し厳しい対応を警告していることを明らかにした。

IUの所属事務所であるイダムエンターテインメントは6月6日、公式声明を発表した。"最近、IUに対する暴力行為が新たなレベルに達しており、IUに対する殺害予告の通報により、IUの所属事務所、カカオエンターテインメントの事務所、IUの自宅に捜査機関が緊急出動した。"

"当時、IUは撮影中であり、捜査機関が警備と安全状況を確認した後、本件は終結し、警備要員は直ちに強化された "と述べた。

同社は、オンライン・オフラインを問わず、無謀な誹謗中傷や違法行為に対するゼロ・トレランス・ポリシーのもと、責任者を民事上・刑事上の責任を問う措置をとっているという。
