エムカウントダウン・イン・フランス」で起きた人種差別論争...現場の証言を聞いてみると

フランス・パリで開催されたK-POPコンサート「M-Countdown in France」が人種差別論争に巻き込まれた。会場の警備員がアジア人を特別視し、取り締まったという疑惑だ。

15日（現地時間）、フランス・パリのパルク・デ・プランス・アリーナでCJ ENMの音楽番組「M-Countdown」が開催された。NCT Dream、SHINeeのテミン、MONSTA Xのシュヌとヒョンウォン、ATEEZ、Psyらが出演し、約2万2000人を動員した。

CJ ENMは以前、「パリ・ラ・デファンス・アリーナへのプロ用カメラの持ち込みは禁止」と発表していた。そのため、会場ではカメラなどの持ち物がチェックされた。

しかし、ヨーロッパ人もカメラを持ち歩き、カメラでステージを撮影していたにもかかわらず、現場担当者はアジア人を厳しく取り締まったという現場の証言がある。証言によると、現場代理人は躊躇なくアジア人のカメラを没収したり、バッグの中を調べたりしたという。

この論争に対し、CJ ENMは "禁止品の監視の過程で過剰な力があったかどうか、事実関係を確認している "と述べた。

一方、K-POPコンサートが人種差別で非難されたのはこれが初めてではない。2021年末に行われたBTSのLA公演では、韓国人ファンがカメラで歌手の写真を撮ったとして、地元のファンから暴行を受けた。
